Feline Manners 101 - For cat owners
This class is for cat owners who need help with training their cat. Because adult cats do not normally do well outside their own home environment, only young kittens from 8 to 16 weeks will be brought to class, but anyone with any age cat is encouraged to take the class.
The class will cover:
- Clicker training behaviors - like sit
- Recall - coming when called
- Crate (kennel) training
- Feeding tips
- Handling
- Biting/scratching/rough play
- Appropriate toy choices
- Chewing
- Socialization
Remember, I can only give you the tools to train your cat. Training your cat is an ongoing process. You will have to commit yourself to applying the techniques we show you on a daily basis for them to work.
This is a 4 week class held several times a year as interest allows. Please contact Judy if you are interested.
